Bigger glass, fused assemblies and Pencil hardware mean iPads need a different bench process. Here's what we account for on every job.
Laminated glass
On most iPads the glass and LCD are fused into one assembly, and the screen is bonded to the frame. We separate it cleanly with controlled heat — no cracked corners.
Apple Pencil test
After a screen repair we pair and test Apple Pencil tracking edge-to-edge, so pressure and palm rejection work exactly like before.
Tandem OLED Pros
The M4 and M5 iPad Pro use Tandem OLED (Ultra Retina XDR) — the first OLED iPad Pros. Those panels are specialist parts, so we price them by quote.
Free port cleaning
Charging intermittently? Often it's just lint, not a bad port. We clean iPad charging ports for free — and only quote a port repair if it actually needs one.

iPad Air and mini screens come in up to three grades. Standard iPad and iPad Pro screens are single-price. Same careful install either way.
